To All Dawgs players, parents and supporters … past, present and future: Due to the financial effects of the coronavirus pandemic, I have made the unfortunate decision to close the Dugout facility on Ferndoc Street in Hyannis. Only the facility is closing and I want to make that clear to avoid any potential rumors regarding our program. The Dawgs competitive program remains fully intact as we prepare for what we hope will be baseball games this summer and fall. As we have been unable to operate the Dugout since mid-March, and with summer months approaching, it did not make economic sense to maintain the current indoor facility given the uncertain times we are currently facing. Our coaching staff remains committed to all of our Dawgs players and families. The Dawgs have been fielding teams made up of Cape Cod players for 18 years and will continue to do that moving forward while making other arrangements to ensure our players get the coaching and development necessary. Our program has produced countless high school varsity players, league all stars and college players from Division 1 to Division 3. We remain committed to our mission to develop Cape Cod athletes who have the desire to develop as baseball and softball players as well as young men and women. I will be evaluating our needs moving forward as the world looks to defeat this virus and everybody recovers from it's economic impact. If you have any questions, please email me at email@example.com. Thanks, Ryan Kinski
The Dugout Dawgs baseball program is focused on the development that not only challenges student-athletes to become better players but also teaches a work ethic and responsibility level that transcend baseball. The goal is to produce player who, through baseball, learn life lessons and values they will utilize long after their playing days.
